Digimon fans received a major surprise as the full roster of Digimon Story: Time Stranger has leaked online following a datamine of its demo. According to the findings, the upcoming RPG will feature more than 450 Digimon, far surpassing the 341 available in Cyber Sleuth. The roster includes a mix of new additions and returning favorites, though some notable omissions were spotted as well.
The leak originated from the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, where a spreadsheet was shared showing 452 Digimon listed by evolutionary stage. Starting from Baby-level creatures and progressing to Mega and Ultra stages, the list also used the Japanese names for identification. For instance, Salamon and Gatomon appeared under their alternate titles, Plotmon and Tailmon. Alongside partner Digimon like Agumon and Gabumon, the datamine revealed newer entries such as Aegiosmon and evolutions from Digimon Frontier like Ranamon and Calmaramon.
Although the Digivolution paths were outlined, detailed stats and personality requirements were not included. Fans also noted that while the roster is significantly larger, certain Digimon seen in Cyber Sleuth did not carry over. Lines such as Sistermon and Arkadimon, as well as Mega Digimon with the NX suffix, are absent. Additionally, pre-order exclusives like Black Agumon and Black Gabumon were not part of the leaked base list.
Despite these cuts, the sheer scale of the roster makes Time Stranger one of the biggest Digimon RPGs to date. The game’s features include Digivolution, Agent Skills, and the Personality System, alongside battle enhancements designed to streamline combat. Previews suggest that fan-favorite Digimon including Agumon, Veemon, and Gomamon will appear as recruitable partners.
With a confirmed Season Pass, it’s possible even more Digimon could join after launch. For now, fans are buzzing with speculation about how this massive lineup will shape the adventure.
