Pakistan China Strategic Dialogue Highlights Regional Peace Commitment

Pakistan China dialogue took center stage in Beijing on Sunday. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister Wang Yi highlighted strong bilateral ties. However, they also stressed the need for cooperation to ensure regional peace. As a result, both sides reaffirmed their shared strategic vision.

Strategic Dialogue Strengthens Bilateral Cooperation

The two leaders met during the seventh Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue. They reviewed the full scope of bilateral relations. In addition, they discussed key regional and global developments.
Both sides exchanged views on CPEC, trade, and multilateral coordination. They also focused on people-to-people exchanges. Therefore, the dialogue reflected growing cooperation across multiple sectors.
Ishaq Dar arrived in Beijing on Saturday at Wang Yi’s invitation. He co-chaired the session with the Chinese foreign minister. As a result, both delegations reaffirmed long-term partnership goals.
The leaders described Pakistan-China friendship as vital for stability. They agreed it supports peace and prosperity in the region. Consequently, they committed to deeper engagement at all levels.

High-Level Meetings and 75-Year Milestone

Before the dialogue, Dar met several senior Chinese officials. He held talks with Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang. They reaffirmed commitment to the strategic cooperative partnership.
Dar also met Liu Haixing from the Communist Party of China. They reviewed party-to-party ties and regional developments. In addition, they assessed progress on CPEC projects.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with bilateral momentum. They described relations as steady and forward-looking. Therefore, they welcomed expanded cooperation.
The leaders agreed to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations. Later, Dar and Wang Yi unveiled a special anniversary logo. As a result, both countries launched a year-long
celebration to honor friendship and shape future cooperation.
