The embassy shared the update through its official X account. It said the suspension will remain in place until conditions improve. Authorities took this step to protect both the Pakistani community and diplomatic staff.
Safety Measures Across the UAE
Officials acted in line with guidance from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. They stressed that safety remains their top priority. Therefore, they will share updates through official communication channels.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates government introduced additional precautions. Authorities directed private companies to activate remote working arrangements. In addition, they advised residents to avoid open areas whenever possible. These steps aim to reduce risks during a tense period. Many residents have expressed concern as the conflict intensifies nearby.
Strikes Continue in Iran
For the fifth straight day, the United States and Israel have continued military strikes on Iran. Explosions shook parts of Tehran overnight. Consequently, fears of wider instability have grown across the region.
Reports indicate that more than 800 people have died in Iran. Over 1,000 others have suffered injuries. The Iranian Red Crescent reported 787 fatalities in Tehran alone.
Iranian officials also confirmed the death of Acting Defence Minister Major General Majid Ibn Reza. At the same time, the commander of United States Central Command stated that forces destroyed hundreds of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones. As tensions escalate, governments across the region continue to take precautionary measures.
