Pakistan Leaders Greet China on 76th National Day

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated the government and people of China on their seventy-sixth National Day. In separate messages, they praised China’s journey of unity, progress, and global leadership. Both leaders said the day reflects the remarkable achievements of the Chinese nation.

President Zardari’s Message

President Zardari said Chinese President Xi Jinping’s leadership has guided China toward innovation, influence, and sustainable development. He noted that China’s achievements serve as a source of inspiration for the world. The President also emphasized the importance of building stronger people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China.
He highlighted that cooperation in science, education, technology, and culture can further deepen mutual understanding. According to him, these areas of collaboration will not only benefit both countries but also strengthen regional stability. Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing this trusted friendship.

Prime Minister Shehbaz’s Message

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said China’s National Day is also an acknowledgment of the country’s role in promoting peace and stability worldwide. He praised China for its contributions to global development and its efforts to support regional harmony.
Shehbaz Sharif underlined that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) remains a vital joint project. He said the initiative has now entered its second phase, opening new doors of economic cooperation. The Prime Minister expressed pride in Pakistan’s brotherly ties with China and said both nations share a vision of progress.
He expressed hope that this enduring partnership will reach greater heights in the future. According to him, the bond between Pakistan and China remains a cornerstone of stability and prosperity for the region.
