Pakistan’s Educast Partners with Oman’s Health 24 Hakkim to Boost Cross-Border Medical Tourism

Educast, a Pakistan-based digital health network, has entered into an agreement with Oman’s Health 24 Hakkim to deliver affordable healthcare services to Omani patients through telemedicine and remote monitoring. The initiative aims to streamline access to treatment in Pakistan while also promoting the country as a medical tourism destination.

As part of the deal, Educast will oversee patients referred by Health 24 Hakkim, ensuring continuity of care and integrating medical support with travel opportunities. This move highlights Pakistan’s ambition to expand its healthcare footprint globally while offering Gulf-based patients both cost savings and access to quality medical facilities.

Educast CEO Abdullah Butt emphasized the company’s track record in challenging environments. “We’ve managed over 150,000 COVID-19 patients in home isolation and collaborated with partners in Sudan, Afghanistan, and Yemen. Our platform continues to bridge healthcare gaps where traditional systems fall short,” he said.

On the Omani side, Health 24 Hakkim’s director Ahmed Subhani underscored the potential benefits. “Our collaboration combines competitive pricing with strong medical expertise. This will attract Omani nationals and expatriates seeking affordable treatment, while also strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare industry,” he noted.

The agreement was formalized during a Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) delegation’s visit to Muscat. FPCCI Senior Vice President Mian Saqib Fayyaz Magon hailed the initiative as a “pioneering medical tourism platform” that could deepen economic ties. Pakistan Oman Business Council Chairman Sheikh Nadeem Magon also called it a step toward diversified trade and investment collaboration between the two nations.

This partnership positions Pakistan as a regional hub for cross-border healthcare, merging cost-effective medical solutions with tourism opportunities.
