Passport Verification Upgrade Eases Fingerprint Checks for Applicants in Pakistan

The Passport Verification Upgrade now brings welcome relief to thousands of applicants across Pakistan. The Passport Department has introduced a stronger and smoother online system. Users can finally complete fingerprint checks without repeated failures. The update creates a more friendly experience for everyone.
The department improved the entire flow through NADRA’s Pak-ID app. People can place their fingerprints, wait a moment, and move to the next step easily. In addition, the system removes
old glitches that frustrated many applicants in the past. As a result, the process feels more reliable and less stressful.

Fingerprint and Facial Verification Improvements

The team added another useful option for people who still face fingerprint issues. The system now offers facial verification as an alternative. This step creates fair access for senior citizens and overseas Pakistanis. Many of them struggled with fingerprint matching due to age or device limitations.
Officials shared that these upgrades close a problem that lasted for years. Overseas Pakistanis raised concerns regularly, and the department finally responded with a long-term fix. The new tools allow applicants to complete their identity checks with confidence.

Public-Friendly Digital Services Expanding

Director General Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi shared that the department plans to expand modern facilities nationwide. His team aims to build easier digital pathways for all applicants. This vision includes reliable online services, faster support, and fewer visits to passport offices.
In addition, the department continues to coordinate with NADRA to improve user experience. The updated system stands as a strong example of this ongoing cooperation. Overall, the Passport Verification Upgrade brings smoother processing and stronger trust in national public services.
