PIA to Launch Islamabad–Manchester Flights from October 25

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will launch direct flights from Islamabad to Manchester on October 25. The flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Direct Connectivity for Passengers

The new service will make travel easier for the large Pakistani community in Manchester and nearby cities. Many overseas Pakistanis visit home regularly for family, business, or education. Demand for a direct route has stayed strong for years.
According to PIA, the flights will save passengers both time and effort. Travelers will no longer need long layovers on connecting flights. As a result, the route offers greater comfort and convenience.
In addition, the airline expects the new connection to support trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. This step highlights PIA’s plan to serve the Pakistani diaspora more effectively

PIA’s International Growth

PIA continues to expand its global network. The airline has recently added new routes and reopened old ones to meet passenger needs. The Islamabad–Manchester service confirms the importance of the UK market for Pakistan’s national carrier.
Officials also noted that the airline is studying more destinations in Europe and the Middle East. These future routes will depend on demand, capacity, and international cooperation.
Therefore, the Manchester flights mark another move to rebuild PIA’s presence in the global market. They also show progress in efforts to regain passenger trust through reliable services.
With flights beginning October 25, travelers will enjoy more options and flexibility. In the long run, this connection can strengthen ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
