PM Shehbaz Meets Nawaz, Departs for Malaysia Visit

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Jati Umra on Saturday. He met his elder brother, former prime minister and PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Their discussion focused on foreign visits and the situation in Azad Kashmir.

Meeting Between Shehbaz and Nawaz Sharif

Shehbaz Sharif shared updates about his recent international trips. He also briefed Nawaz Sharif about developments in Azad Kashmir. According to him, talks in the region ended with positive results.
Nawaz Sharif welcomed the progress and praised the government’s efforts. As a result, the meeting reflected unity within the party. It also showed the importance of coordination between both leaders.

Upcoming Malaysia Visit

Shehbaz Sharif will begin a two-day visit to Malaysia on Sunday. The trip comes at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
The leaders will discuss trade, investment, and regional cooperation. In addition, the agenda includes exploring opportunities in education and technology.
Interestingly, Anwar Ibrahim also invited Nawaz Sharif to Malaysia. Nawaz Sharif thanked him for the gesture. However, he said he would visit at a more suitable time.
This invitation highlights the respect Nawaz Sharif still receives internationally. Therefore, the PML-N leadership continues to enjoy influence both at home and abroad.
