PTI Launches Lahore Rally as Fresh Street Movement Begins

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has announced a new phase of political mobilisation. The party will launch its PTI street movement from Lahore on Friday. Leaders have planned a public gathering at Liberty Roundabout. Therefore, the city will serve as the starting point for nationwide protests.
PTI Punjab chief organiser Aliya Hamza Malik confirmed the plan. She said the party is following directives from its founder, Imran Khan. According to her, the Lahore rally marks the formal return of street agitation in Punjab

Rally at Liberty Roundabout

Ms Malik directed all PTI ticket-holders to attend the rally. She also asked party office-bearers, workers, and lawyers from Lahore division to ensure participation. In addition, the event will welcome Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Party leaders expect the gathering to turn a major Lahore road into a symbolic march. The protest will demand the release of Imran Khan. Moreover, speakers will raise concerns about constitutional order, rule of law, and democratic values.
The leadership believes the PTI street movement will energize supporters. As a result, they aim to rebuild pressure through peaceful public action.

Mobilisation Beyond Lahore

Earlier, Ms Malik shared details of the chief minister’s journey. CM Afridi and his cabinet members will first stop in Bhera. PTI members from Sargodha and Mandi Bahauddin divisions will welcome the delegation there.
The party sees this arrival as politically significant. Leaders believe it will strengthen coordination between provinces. Therefore, they expect higher public engagement.
PTI officials say the Lahore rally will not stand alone. Similar activities will follow in other cities. The party wants to restore its presence on the streets across the country.
According to leaders, the PTI street movement will continue until demands receive attention. They argue that public mobilization remains essential for political reform. Ultimately, PTI aims to push for what it calls constitutional and democratic rights.
