Saudi Arabia Inaugurates Rixos Murjana Resort, Kingdom’s Largest All-Inclusive Destination
Saudi Arabia has added a major new destination to its tourism map. Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb inaugurated the Rixos Murjana Resort at King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh. The resort is now the largest all-inclusive property in the Kingdom.
The project received strong backing from multiple partners. The Tourism Development Fund served as investor and financier. Emaar, the Economic City, joined as co-investors. FTG Development company acted as the project developer.
The inauguration ceremony drew senior officials. Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of the Tourism Development Fund, attended. Fettah Tamince, Chairman of Rixos Hotels, was also present. The Saudi Press Agency reported the details on Monday.
World-Class Facilities and Amenities
The resort offers an impressive range of accommodation options. It features 488 rooms and suites, all with sea views. Thirty-three villas provide additional luxury choices for families and groups.
A fitness center and sports complex cater to active guests. Meeting and conference facilities serve business travelers. Every amenity is designed to the highest international standards.
Murjana Waterpark is a standout attraction. It is the Kingdom’s first fully integrated hotel water park. Eleven water attractions promise fun for visitors of all ages. This makes the resort a complete family destination.
