SiN: Reloaded Remaster Launches 2026 on PC and Consoles

SiN: Reloaded Remaster Launches 2026 on PC and Consoles

Nightdive Studios announces the long-awaited remaster of the 1998 cult classic FPS SiN, releasing later this year. SiN Reloaded remaster includes the original game and the Wages of SiN expansion mission pack. Players control security consultant Colonel John R. Blade against the evil Doctor Elexis Sinclaire. SinTEK Industries CEO Elexis injects the streets with a DNA-altering drug. You must face off against her unholy army of genetically-engineered mutants. The original SiN pushed the Quake II engine to its limits impressively. Groundbreaking interactivity allowed players to hack terminals using DOS-style code. Elevators, security cameras, and vehicles like forklifts and helicopters add variety.

Enhanced Features and Improvements

The KEX Engine optimizes both games for modern systems with precision. Graphics receive beautiful remastering with new HD textures and models. Resolutions up to 4K at 144 FPS with anti-aliasing are supported. Control schemes are overhauled and modernized for gamepads and mouse and keyboard.
Maps are improved throughout using Nightdive’s established expertise. Players can swap between remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold version. Brand-new achievements add replay value for completionists. Higher resolution Zak Belika tracks are mixed and engineered by Chris Mock.

Gameplay Innovations and Legacy

SiN pioneered the ability to knock weapons from opponents’ hands. Area-specific damage from attacks added tactical depth to combat. Your actions have consequences, creating branching paths as the game progresses. The Wages of Sin expansion pits you against a diabolical mafia boss.
A vault filled with exclusive behind-the-scenes material is included. The game releases on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1|2 versions arrive. There has never been a better way to get naughty with this cult classic.
