Sindh Shines at Age Group Swimming Championship with Record Performances

Age Group Swimming fans enjoyed an exciting weekend as young athletes delivered powerful performances. The event took place at the Pakistan Sports Complex, where swimmers from Sindh and Punjab competed for top honors. The atmosphere stayed electric as each race brought new surprises and impressive times.

Standout Wins and Rising Stars

Sindh delivered a strong show across several categories. Mohammad Rafi claimed the U-12 title with confident swims. In addition, Ali Usman and Syed Azlan Sohail won the U-14 and U-16 titles. Their consistent pace and focus thrilled supporters throughout the competition.
Punjab earned a bright moment as well. Mohammad Aban Kashif secured the U-10 crown after grabbing five gold medals. His energy inspired swimmers from other age groups and added balance to the contest.
Several races produced new national records. Azlan set a fresh U-16 record in the 200m individual medley with a time of 2:13.82. As a result, he strengthened his status as one of the most promising young swimmers in the country. Punjab also celebrated new marks from Zayyan Ali Khan in the U-10 50m backstroke and their U-10 relay team in the 4x50m freestyle.

Girls’ Contests and Team Highlights

The girls’ championship ran alongside the boys’ events. For example, Zoya Omair Hafiz from Sindh made headlines by setting a new U-12 record in the 200m individual medley. Her smooth strokes and steady rhythm earned admiration from all sides.
Team relays brought even more excitement. Sindh and Punjab traded wins in several categories, showing depth and teamwork. Therefore, the competition ended with high energy and appreciation for young talent.
