Zanjan recently hosted a unique mother and child tourism tour. The event combined education, family bonding, and cultural discovery.
The Zanjan Tourism Department and the Association of Travel Agencies organized this activity. Their goal was to create both fun and learning opportunities for mothers and children.
Blending History with Family Time
During the tour, families visited places such as Rakhtshooy Khaneh. Children saw how daily life once looked and realized history lives outside books. As a result, they connected with their heritage in a lively way.
Deputy Head Davoud Abian explained the purpose clearly. He said the tour aimed to strengthen family ties and build respect for cultural values. In addition, participants gained knowledge about social history through stories and traditional tools.
Investing in the Next Generation
Abian stressed that the program went beyond entertainment. He emphasized that children who know their cultural roots will protect them in the future. Therefore, early education plays a key role in developing sustainable tourism.
The tour showed how culture, education, and leisure can come together. Similar programs, such as eco-tourism and food tourism, will continue in the province.

This tourism initiative highlighted Zanjan’s charm while inspiring families to value heritage. As a result, the event became a memorable and meaningful journey for both mothers and children.
