Since Friday, at least 11 civilians have been killed and over 90 injured in a series of attacks across Ukraine, according to local authorities. The Donetsk region was the most severely affected, with Kostiantynivka suffering significant damage. Six other regions, including Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia, also reported destruction to homes, schools, ambulances, and critical energy infrastructure. Humanitarian groups have responded by distributing repair materials, hot meals, and psychological support for affected families.
Meanwhile, more than 2,000 people—many of them children—were evacuated from Donetsk between Friday and Monday. With mounting pressure on the Pavlohrad transit site, new facilities were opened in Voloske (Dnipro region) and Lozova (Kharkiv region) to provide food, medical care, and cash assistance for evacuees moving to safer areas.
In a separate development, the UN human rights office (OHCHR) urged Egypt to end its controversial “rotation” detention practice, condemning it as arbitrary and a violation of fundamental rights.
