Capcom has announced an exciting new crossover as Street Fighter 6 teams up with Monster Hunter Wilds for a month-long collaboration starting September 1. Fans of both franchises can look forward to a wealth of content celebrating the iconic Monster Hunter universe inside the Street Fighter world.
This isn’t the first time the series have joined forces. In May, Akuma was playable in Monster Hunter Wilds through free DLC, allowing players to battle monsters with martial arts prowess. Chun-Li and Cammy were offered as paid DLC, giving fans additional crossover options.
For the latest event, Street Fighter 6 players can enjoy five EX colors for Blanka, Akuma, Manon, Cammy, and Ken inspired by popular Monster Hunter Wilds creatures. Logging in during the collaboration period rewards players with challenge screen effects, Quest Start sounds, 10 stickers, and two wallpapers. The Battle Hub will be themed around Monster Hunter Wilds, featuring photo spots with Rathalos and Rathian and a voting event from September 1–15, allowing players to earn weapon accessories, titles, and emotes.
The Monster Hunter-themed Fighting Pass returns with avatar gear, emotes, and titles, while The Shop introduces new avatar gear, including Rathalos and Felyne color sets. Unlike the previous TMNT collaboration, which drew criticism for its $15 skins, the Monster Hunter EX colors target the fighters themselves, potentially appealing more to fans.
This collaboration follows Street Fighter 6’s previous partnership with K-Pop group Aespa. While Juri received the spotlight in that event, this crossover ensures multiple fighters enjoy new customization options, delivering fresh experiences to longtime fans.
