Darden School of Business Earns Top 10 Global Rankings for Entrepreneurship Again

The University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business has once again earned global recognition for excellence in entrepreneurship. The school landed in the Top 10 of both Poets & Quants and The Princeton Review/Entrepreneur Magazine for the second year in a row. This achievement highlights the steady rise of the Darden entrepreneurship ranking on the world stage.
Darden continues to gain momentum thanks to innovative teaching, strong student engagement and a growing network of entrepreneurial alumni. As a result, the school now stands among the most influential training grounds for founders and innovators.

Rankings Reflect Rapid Growth and Hands-On Learning

In the newest Poets & Quants results, Darden climbed to No. 9 worldwide. The school has moved up 25 spots since 2020 and now sits at No. 3 among U.S. public business schools. The Princeton Review/Entrepreneur list ranked Darden No. 7 overall and No. 5 among public institutions, marking its highest placement since 2020.
More than 95% of Darden students take a course focused on innovation or entrepreneurship. In addition, the school leads globally in the number of entrepreneurship electives and the percentage of students working directly with startups.
This progress is supported by the Batten Institute for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology. Programs like the i.Lab incubator, Batten Venture Internship Program and Batten Founder Fellows give students and alumni access to funding, mentorship and hands-on venture experience.
