New Hero and Gameplay Features
Vendetta joins as the game’s first true melee DPS hero significantly. She wields a hard-light greatsword with combo strings and defensive capabilities. Her abilities include Soaring Slice and Whirlwind Dash for mobility. The ultimate Sundering Blade breaks enemy defenses with massive frontal cleave.
Console players receive +6% to +8% aim assist improvements strategically. Support heroes benefit most from the controller enhancement updates. The adjustments help new and mid-level players improve their accuracy. These changes follow extensive community feedback and testing.
Seasonal Events and Content
Winter Wonderland 2025 runs from December 9 through January 7 completely. Mischief and Magic prop hunt mode returns with fighting props twist. Earnable skins include Frozen Demon Junkrat and Frozen Mountaineer Cassidy. Three-track progression rewards Jingle Tracer, Krampus Junkrat, and Santa Torbjörn.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover returns with character skins. Divine Desperado Cassidy launches as the season’s Mythic skin. Orisa and Doomfist receive Mythic weapons and skins mid-season. Stadium Mode adds Doomfist and Wuyang with specific powers.
