Your Year with ChatGPT Launches in Spotify Wrapped Style

OpenAI has launched a new recap feature called Your Year ChatGPT. The tool mirrors the popular Spotify Wrapped experience. Users can now review how they used ChatGPT in 2025. The rollout has started in select regions. These include the United States and several English-speaking countries. Canada, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand also have access.

The feature supports Free, Plus, and Pro plans.

However, users must meet. They also need chat history and memory settings enabled. As a result, privacy controls stay in users’ hands. Personalized awards and creative insights. The experience uses playful graphics and summaries.
It highlights how people interact with ChatGPT. For example, users may receive themed awards. One such title is Creative Debugger. ChatGPT also generates a poem and an image. These reflect a user’s most discussed topics. The recap stays optional. Therefore, it will not open automatically. Users can find it on the home screen. They can also ask ChatGPT directly to launch it. The feature works on web and mobile apps. Both iOS and Android users can access it. Team, Enterprise, and Education accounts are excluded. OpenAI says the tool remains lightweight and privacy-forward. In addition, the company
stresses user control. Participation depends entirely on individual choice. With this launch, OpenAI joins a familiar trend. Many apps now celebrate user activity through annual reviews.
