Benghazi Launches Major Teacher Training Initiative to Elevate Education

The city of Benghazi hosted a major training launch on Sunday. This event started the “Education Competency Enhancement” project. An intensive refresher course initiated the program for a dedicated “Teachers of Change” team. Basma Bouseif, Head of the Project Committee, confirmed the step. It falls under the Benghazi Training and Development Office. Successful participants will graduate as accredited official trainers.

A Cornerstone for Educational Development

Benghazi Education Supervisor, Balaid Jumaa, inaugurated the course. He praised the high level of organization and preparation. He stated the project is a cornerstone for the sector’s development strategy. The project adopts a modern, forward-looking vision. It aims to strategically invest in human resources. Furthermore, it seeks to enhance capabilities to keep pace with global educational progress.

The Supervisor emphasized the trainers’ great responsibility. He affirmed this is not a temporary measure, but a fundamental driver for change.
