Syrian Student Wins Best Speaker Title at Global Arabic Debate Event

The Syrian debate champion has earned global recognition this season. Lana Akram al-Hammoud won the “Best Speaker in the Open Arabic Category” award at a major international event. She achieved this honor during the 7th International Schools Debating Championship in Arabic. The Qatar Debates Centre organized the competition for the 2025–2026 season. More than 200 students from 50 countries took part. Lana impressed judges with her confident delivery and clear reasoning. Her performance highlighted strong public speaking and argumentation skills.
