UET Entrance Test 2026: Dates, Centers, and Key Details for Applicants

The UET Entrance Test 2026 has been officially announced by the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. The exam will take place from March 30 to April 2, 2026. In addition, thousands of students will compete for undergraduate seats. The test will follow a computer-based format, and each session will last 100 minutes. Therefore, candidates should prepare carefully and manage their time wisely.
Around 18,500 candidates are expected to appear in the exam. This number also includes students who will take the mock test. As a result, competition will be tough. Students should focus on practice and revision to improve their chances. Moreover, regular preparation can help reduce stress and build confidence.

Test Format and Preparation

The exam will take place in multiple sessions across the given dates. Each session will follow the same pattern. However, the computer-based format will require basic digital skills. For example, students should practice solving questions on a screen instead of paper. This will help them adjust to the actual test environment.
In addition, the mock test plays an important role. It helps students understand the system before the real exam. Therefore, candidates should attend the mock test if possible. It allows them to practice time management and improve accuracy. As a result, they can perform better in the main exam.

Test Centers and Accessibility

The exam will be held at several locations across Punjab. These include the main campus of UET Lahore and its sub-campuses. Furthermore, other institutions will also host the test. These include UET Taxila, UET Faisalabad, and UET Narowal. In addition, centers are available at Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, the University of Gujrat, and Islamia University Bahawalpur.
Because of multiple test centers, students can choose a nearby location. This reduces travel stress and helps them stay focused. Therefore, candidates should confirm their test center and timing in advance. Proper planning will ensure a smooth and successful exam experience.
