Grade 8 Results 2026 Announced by Maryam Nawaz

Students across Punjab can now check their Grade 8 Results 2026 online. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the update. She said students can access their scores from 3 PM. They can visit the official Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority website. This move makes the process simple and quick for everyone.

Online Access and Result Overview

Students can open pectaa.edu.pk to view their results. The portal offers a smooth and fast experience. In addition, it reduces waiting time and avoids crowding at schools.
This year, authorities used advanced technology for marking. They introduced an AI-based system for the first time. As a result, the process stayed accurate and fair. The system checked papers without human bias.
Nearly one million students appeared in the exams. The overall pass rate reached 88 percent. However, results differ slightly between groups. Boys secured an 83 percent pass rate. Meanwhile, girls achieved an impressive 92 percent.

Transparency and Education Goals

Maryam Nawaz praised students for their dedication and effort. She also appreciated teachers and parents for their support. According to her, their combined efforts led to this success.
Moreover, she stressed the need for fairness in education. The government aims to provide equal opportunities for all learners. Therefore, digital tools will play a bigger role in future assessments.
She added that this system marks a positive change. It reflects a strong commitment to transparency. In the coming years, authorities plan more reforms. These steps will further improve the quality of education across Punjab.
