Punjab CM IT Internship Program 2026: Registrations Open for Graduates

CM IT internship Punjab has officially opened registrations for its second cohort. The Government of Punjab invites eligible graduates from across the province. The program aims to support young talent in the IT sector. Therefore, it connects graduates with leading IT companies for hands-on learning.

Industry exposure and training opportunities

The program focuses on practical experience in real IT environments. Selected candidates will join on-site training with registered IT firms. In addition, they will work on live projects and build professional portfolios. This exposure helps graduates understand industry demands more clearly.
Moreover, the internship runs for five months. Participants receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000. However, they must maintain performance standards to continue receiving benefits. They also need to submit an HEC-attested degree for verification.
As a result, the program encourages both skill development and discipline. It also strengthens the link between education and industry needs. In addition, it helps companies find trained and motivated young professionals.

Eligibility and application process

Applicants must hold a degree in IT, computer science, or a related field. They must also have graduated within the last four years. Furthermore, candidates must possess a valid CNIC and Punjab domicile. These requirements ensure fair selection across the province.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal: cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk. Therefore, applicants should complete registration before the deadline. They must also provide accurate academic and personal information.
For further guidance, applicants can contact the support team. They may call 042-99000000 (Ext: 1925, 1908, 1207). In addition, they can email info@cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk for assistance.
The Government of Punjab believes this initiative will empower young graduates. It also aims to reduce the gap between education and employment. Ultimately, CM IT internship Punjab creates better career opportunities in the growing technology sector.
