NAVTTC Launches Free Mobile Repairing Course for Women

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced a free mobile repairing course for women under the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). The program aims to promote women’s empowerment through technical education and practical skills training. Officials said the initiative will help women gain market-oriented skills and improve employment opportunities. Therefore, eligible applicants are encouraged to apply before the deadline on May 15.

Free Technical Training for Women

According to the official advertisement, the training will take place at the Government Polytechnic Institute for Women in H-8/1, Islamabad. Women between 18 and 40 years of age can apply for the program. In addition, applicants must have at least a matric qualification to qualify for admission.
Officials explained that the course is part of NAVTTC’s broader quality training initiative. The program focuses on strengthening technical education and creating better job opportunities for Pakistani youth, especially women. As a result, participants may improve their chances of self-employment and financial independence.
The ministry also said the initiative supports the government’s efforts to encourage women’s participation in technical fields. Therefore, authorities hope the training will help more women build sustainable careers.

Applications Open Until May 15

Officials confirmed that interested candidates can submit applications online through NAVTTC’s official platforms. The initiative has been launched under the theme, “Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Vision: Empowered and Successful Women — Step by Step.”
Authorities said the program will provide practical technical skills that match current market demands. In addition, the training aims to encourage self-reliance and increase women’s participation in vocational education across Pakistan.
Education officials believe such programs can help reduce unemployment and improve access to professional training for women. Therefore, applicants should complete the registration process before the closing date.
