Kuwait University Scholarship 2026 Opens for Pakistani Students Through HEC

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced applications for the Kuwait University Scholarship for the 2026–27 academic year. The fully funded program offers Pakistani and AJK students an opportunity to study Arabic at Kuwait University. HEC is offering the scholarship under its Learning Opportunities Abroad initiative. Interested students can now submit their applications through the HEC online portal.
The program aims to help students strengthen their Arabic language skills in an academic setting. Selected candidates will study at the Language Teaching Center of Kuwait University. However, applicants must complete the online application process before the deadline of June 12, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Scholarship Details

The Kuwait University Scholarship is open to Pakistani and AJK nationals who permanently reside in Pakistan or AJK. However, candidates holding dual nationality are not eligible. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
Students must have completed HSSC or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. In addition, they must be medically fit to study abroad. HEC will shortlist candidates on merit. The selection process will primarily depend on marks obtained in HSSC, FA, FSc, or equivalent examinations.
The scholarship covers study at Kuwait University’s Language Teaching Center. The program will run across three academic terms, including the first, second, and summer semesters. Classes are expected to begin on September 13, 2026.
Pakistan has received two scholarship seats under the program. One seat is reserved for a male student, while the second seat is allocated to a female student.

Application Process and Important Instructions

Students must apply through the HEC scholarship portal. First, applicants should create or update their online profile. Next, they must enter accurate academic, personal, and contact information.
After completing the profile, candidates should select the “Learning Opportunities Abroad” section and choose the Kuwait University Scholarship 2026–27 application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applicants should also prepare relevant documents, including CNIC or B-Form, domicile, passport details, recent photographs, and academic certificates. Finally, students should carefully review all information before submission, as incorrect details may result in disqualification.
