40,000 Blacklisted Vehicles to Face Crackdown Under Sindh E-Ticketing Drive

Around 40,000 Blacklisted Vehicles in Karachi will face a city-wide crackdown from July 1 under the faceless e-ticketing system. The Traffic Police and Excise Department will jointly conduct the operation against vehicles flagged for documentation, ownership, and compliance violations. Authorities have urged vehicle owners to resolve all pending issues before the deadline to avoid penalties and enforcement action.
Officials said the blacklist includes vehicles whose ownership has not been transferred to current users. Many motorists continue to use vehicles registered under previous owners, creating legal and administrative complications. Therefore, authorities have directed vehicle owners to immediately update ownership records and complete the transfer process.
The upcoming operation will also target vehicles with incomplete documentation and inaccurate registration details. Officials warned that incorrect addresses and missing records could trigger enforcement action during inspections. As a result, motorists must ensure that all information in official databases remains accurate and up to date.

Authorities Tighten Enforcement Measures

The Traffic Police have announced strict action against vehicle owners who have failed to clear e-ticketing fines and other government dues. Officials stressed that motorists should settle all outstanding liabilities before July 1. Otherwise, enforcement teams may impound vehicles found in violation during the campaign.
Authorities believe the crackdown will improve compliance with traffic laws and strengthen record management. In addition, officials expect the operation to encourage vehicle owners to fulfill their legal obligations and maintain accurate documentation.
The campaign forms part of broader efforts to improve traffic regulation and streamline the enforcement process. Therefore, officials have advised citizens not to delay updating their records or paying pending fines.

Citizens Urged to Verify Vehicle Status

To facilitate motorists, authorities have made the blacklist available through the official portal. Vehicle owners can check their status by entering either their registration number or CNIC. This service allows citizens to identify any issues before enforcement begins.
Police have also warned that continued non-compliance may result in fines, legal notices, and further action. Moreover, repeated violations could lead to additional legal consequences.
Officials have encouraged all vehicle owners to review their records carefully and resolve outstanding matters immediately. They believe timely compliance will help motorists avoid inconvenience and ensure a smoother implementation of the city-wide enforcement drive.
