IBCC ePay Launches Global Online Fee Payments for Equivalence Services
The IBCC ePay Platform has officially launched to make equivalence fee payments easier for applicants worldwide. The new digital service allows users to pay online through Visa and MasterCard without visiting a bank. As a result, overseas Pakistanis, international students, and foreign applicants can complete the payment process quickly and securely from any location.
The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) introduced the platform as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy. The initiative aims to improve accessibility, increase transparency, and deliver more efficient public services. In addition, the system simplifies procedures for applicants seeking equivalence certificates.
Digital Payments Improve Accessibility
The new platform removes the need for physical payment arrangements. Previously, many applicants faced delays due to banking procedures and manual transactions. However, the digital system now offers a faster and more convenient alternative.
Users can access the platform online and complete payments in a few simple steps. Therefore, applicants living outside Pakistan can avoid unnecessary travel and paperwork. The service also provides greater flexibility for students applying from different countries.
IBCC officials believe the platform will significantly improve the overall user experience. Moreover, the online payment option supports the government’s broader vision of digital governance and service modernization.
IBCC Advances Digital Transformation
IBCC Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah said the organization launched the platform with support from the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. He noted that the initiative focuses on facilitating applicants across the globe and making equivalence services more accessible.
Dr. Mallah also highlighted the role of the IBCC’s technical team in developing the system. According to him, the organization designed and built the platform entirely in-house. This achievement demonstrates the institution’s growing technological expertise and commitment to innovation.
Furthermore, the launch reflects IBCC’s efforts to modernize education-related services through technology. Officials expect the platform to save time, reduce administrative hurdles, and improve service delivery. Consequently, applicants can now complete equivalence fee payments with greater ease, convenience, and confidence.
