Foxconn Revenue Surge 2026 Driven by AI Demand Despite Global Risks
Foxconn reported a strong second quarter this year. The Foxconn revenue surge reached 39.8% year on year. As a result, it beat market expectations comfortably. The company earned T$2.513 trillion in revenue. This figure exceeded the T$2.372 trillion forecast by LSEG SmartEstimate. Therefore, analysts viewed the performance as impressive.
AI Demand Powers Strong Growth
High demand for AI products drove growth across key segments. For example, cloud and networking products performed exceptionally well. In addition, smart consumer electronics also showed solid gains. This segment includes devices from Apple, such as iPhones. Meanwhile, servers linked to Nvidia continued to boost revenue. June alone delivered record numbers. Revenue jumped 52.1% year on year to T$821.8 billion. As a result, it marked the highest June performance ever.
Outlook Remains Positive but Cautious
Foxconn expects further growth in the third quarter. Both quarterly and yearly performance should improve. AI racks will likely continue their upward trend. However, the company remains cautious. It highlighted risks from global political and economic conditions. These factors could impact future performance.
Foxconn did not provide exact forecasts. Still, it stressed the need to monitor global developments closely.
Stock Performance Lags Market
Despite strong revenue, Foxconn shares saw modest gains. The stock rose 4.3% this year. In comparison, the broader Taiwan market surged 61.5%. On Friday, shares increased by 0.6%. This rise came just before the revenue announcement. Meanwhile, the benchmark index remained flat.
