To mark the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day, the Vietnam Education Publishing House (VEPH), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, unveiled dynamic exhibition spaces that celebrate the nation’s educational and cultural milestones.
Held from August 28 to September 15, 2025, the National Achievements Exhibition featured the “Tree of Knowledge,” a symbolic display of textbook covers tracing Vietnam’s educational evolution. The Ministry of Education and Training’s 396 sqm exhibition area highlighted “80 Years of Achievements in Education and Training,” showcasing VEPH’s contributions across four historical phases. Nguyen Chi Binh, deputy general director of VEPH, introduced textbook displays from the 1975–1986 period to Minister Nguyen Kim Son.
Meanwhile, the “Creativity for Development” zone spotlighted Vietnam’s publishing industry, with VEPH presenting its own booth under the theme “Vietnamese Publishing: 80 Years of Development and Integration. ”VEPH’s display included textbooks, ethnic language materials, award-winning reference books, and digital learning solutions.
These resources reflect VEPH’s commitment to inclusive education, cultural preservation, and technological advancement. “Calligraphy is an art… it is essential for every young person to take it seriously,” said Seyar Seros, emphasizing the value of educational arts. Le Thanh Anh, CEO of Hanoi Education Investment and Development JSC, showcased VEPH’s digital ecosystem to Minister Son, underscoring the publisher’s role in modernizing education.
On August 29, VEPH hosted a panel titled “Vietnam Education Publishing House in the cause of promoting reading culture among students,” featuring renowned writers and educators. VEPH’s participation affirms its dedication to “nurturing people” and shaping a progressive, humanistic education system for Vietnam’s future.
