Federal Bureaucrats Transfers: Senior Officers Get New Postings, Appointments
The federal government has announced federal bureaucrats transfers involving officers from BS-18 to BS-22. The Establishment Division issued the notification on Monday. The orders take effect immediately and remain valid until further instructions.Senior Member of the Federal Land Commission Waqarul Hassan, a BS-22 officer, will retire on December 31, 2026.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Police officer Imran Yaqoob, BS-20, has moved from the Sindh government to the Establishment Division in Islamabad.Ghulam Murtaza, a BS-19 Police Service officer, has also moved from Sindh. He will now report to the Establishment Division in Islamabad. Similarly, Mazhar Javed has moved from the Azad Kashmir Secretariat to the Power Division.
Senior officials receive new assignments
The government has appointed Aziz Ahmadzai as Executive Director of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan. In addition, Naseeruddin Sarwar has received a new assignment.Sarwar previously served as Director-General at the Controller General of Accounts. He will now head the Benazir Income Support Programme as its Director-General.
Javed Shah, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Climate Change, has also received a new posting. He will now serve in the Poverty Alleviation Division.The government also extended Mohammad Tariq Saeed’s service for two years. Saeed serves as Treasurer at Fatima Jinnah Medical College. His extension took effect from August 3, 2026.
More changes across government departments
Mehmood Ahmad Bhatti has received premature retirement with immediate effect. Meanwhile, Sher Alam has moved from the Establishment Division to the Military Finance Wing.The government also appointed Dr Waheed Ahmad as Deputy Director (Admin) at the Federal Directorate of Immunization in Islamabad. Before this appointment, he served in the Balochistan Health Department.
These changes affect several important government institutions. Therefore, the latest notification marks a significant administrative reshuffle.The Establishment Division issued the official notification covering all transfers and postings. The orders will remain effective until further directions from the government.
