Champions Liverpool Lose Again as Man United Rise into Top Four

Liverpool lose again, falling 2-1 to Aston Villa at Anfield. The defeat marks their third straight loss in the Premier League. Fans are growing worried about the champions’ form as the pressure builds.
Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool an early lead. However, Aston Villa fought back with determination. Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey scored to complete a stunning comeback and silence the home crowd.

Liverpool’s Struggles Continue

Liverpool’s defence looked shaky once more. The absence of Virgil van Dijk due to injury has left a big gap at the back. Their midfield also appeared tired, giving Villa space to control key moments.
Manager Jürgen Klopp admitted after the match that his side lacked energy and consistency. He urged his players to respond quickly before the title race slips further away.

Man United March Into Top Four

Meanwhile, Manchester United impressed with a strong 3-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford scored twice, while Bruno Fernandes added a composed third goal late in the game.
United looked sharp and confident under Erik ten Hag. The team pressed high, passed quickly, and defended with purpose. Lisandro Martínez led the backline, helping secure another clean sheet.
As a result, United climbed to fourth place, overtaking Tottenham on goal difference. Liverpool, on the other hand, dropped to seventh, eight points behind the leaders. The champions now face a crucial test to revive their season before it’s too late.
