Pakistan Condemns Israeli Strikes in Gaza, Urges End to Ceasefire Violations

Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s latest attacks on Gaza. The government called for an immediate end to Pakistan Gaza ceasefire violations after Israeli air strikes killed more than 100 Palestinians on Tuesday.
In an official statement, the Foreign Office urged Israel to stop targeting civilians and respect
international law. It said the attacks on Gaza violate the truce agreement and worsen the humanitarian crisis in the region.

Pakistan’s Call for Action

Islamabad demanded that global powers take urgent steps to ensure Israel halts its aggression. Officials stressed that continued violence undermines peace efforts and deepens Palestinian suffering. Pakistan also reaffirmed its full support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination.
The Foreign Office expressed concern over reports from Gaza’s health ministry that at least 104 people lost their lives in the latest strikes. The statement added that hospitals in Gaza are struggling to treat the injured due to fuel and medicine shortages.

Background of the Incident

Israel claimed that its strikes targeted Hamas fighters who violated the truce by killing an Israeli soldier. However, Hamas denied the accusation and said Israel used it as an excuse for renewed attacks.
Pakistan urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for repeated violations. It also called on the United Nations to push for lasting peace in the Middle East.
The government said only dialogue, justice, and respect for international law can bring stability to the region.
