AKU-EB Celebrates Student Excellence Across Pakistan: A Journey of Learning and Empathy

The Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) celebrated student excellence through a remarkable ceremony that began in Karachi, continued in Chitral, and concluded in Gilgit. The journey symbolized unity, growth, and achievement across Pakistan’s diverse regions.

Celebrating Purpose and Achievement

Held under the theme “You Are a Drop in the Ocean,” the event honored outstanding students from Gilgit-Baltistan. It also highlighted AKU-EB’s goal of combining intellect with empathy and personal success with community progress.
Chief Guest Baig encouraged students to stay focused. “Every success begins with clarity of purpose,” he said. “You have the best institutions to guide that purpose.”
Earlier, AKU-EB CEO Dr. Naveed Yousuf welcomed students, parents, and educators. He shared that since 2002, the Board has graduated over 80,000 learners. “You are the new chapter in AKU-EB’s story — one built on fairness, innovation, and hope,” he added.

Building Partnerships for the Future

Guest of Honour Imtiaz Momin, CEO of the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKESP), reaffirmed AKESP’s partnership with AKU-EB. He announced that all AKESP schools will affiliate with the Board within two years.
“Eighty percent of affiliated schools already earn A+ results,” he said. “This shows AKU-EB’s commitment to critical thinking and equal opportunity.”
High achiever Shuja inspired attendees with a message on climate action. “Each of us is a drop, small but vital,” he said. “Together, we form the ocean that carries hope and change.”
According to AKU-EB’s University Destination Survey, 92% of graduates secure university admissions, with half joining top HEC-ranked institutions. Each ceremony reaffirmed AKU-EB’s mission to nurture compassionate, ethical learners ready to shape a sustainable future.
