Indomobil Group, Space Time Foundation Launch Blockchain Program to Boost Education and Financial Inclusion in Indonesia.

JAKARTA: Indonesian conglomerate Indomobil Group has joined hands with Space Time Foundation to introduce a blockchain-driven initiative that aims to provide verifiable education credentials for more than 50,000 students across Indonesia, while also advancing financial inclusion.

The program uses SXT Chain, a blockchain platform developed by Space and Time, to securely record proof of course completion. This allows students to verify their qualifications instantly when applying for jobs or further studies, reducing dependence on paper-based systems and lowering the risk of credential fraud.

A key feature of the initiative is the integration of SXT, Space and Time’s native token, as the main payment method for education services. Traditionally, many Indonesians—particularly those without access to banking—have relied on intermediaries to manage payments to schools. By allowing parents and students to directly transfer SXT tokens to educational institutions, the program promises faster, more transparent, and more reliable transactions.

Highlighting the project’s importance, Indomobil Group President Director Jusak Kertowidjojo stated: “Indomobil has always believed in building long-term infrastructure that supports national development. Education is a critical part of that. Our partnership with Space and Time and MakeInfinite Labs allows us to lead the world in efficient, transparent, and verifiable education.”

Space and Time will provide the backend infrastructure, indexing every transaction and making all educational and financial records instantly verifiable. With payments processed without intermediaries, blockchain becomes the single source of truth, ensuring accountability and scalability for Indonesia’s education sector.
