ARC Raiders Players Praise Major New Update
Embark Studios has released update 1.29.0 for ARC Raiders, and players are already calling it one of the game’s best patches so far. The latest update introduces anti-cheat improvements, a new trader system, weapon balance changes, and several progression upgrades designed to improve the overall experience.
Many ARC Raiders players praised the update shortly after the patch notes appeared online. Fans especially welcomed the stronger anti-cheat systems and the addition of a new trader named Ermal. Because cheating had become a major issue on PC servers, players believe this update could significantly improve matchmaking quality.
ARC Raiders Adds New Trader And Rewards
The new trader Ermal becomes available to players above level 25. Players can exchange rare ARC materials and weapons for rewards like cosmetics, Raider Tokens, stash upgrades, and valuable crafting items. The update also introduces a vault feature that allows players to carry items between characters during expeditions.
Embark Studios also changed how players earn premium cosmetics and currency. Instead of relying only on purchases, players can now unlock certain rewards directly through gameplay. Many fans praised this system because it gives long-term players additional progression goals.
Weapon Balance And Anti-Cheat Improve Gameplay
Update 1.29.0 also improves weapon durability across multiple guns. Several popular weapons now last much longer before breaking, making expensive gear feel more reliable during high-risk missions. Embark Studios additionally introduced the Rascal, a compact version of the Hullcracker weapon.
The patch also adds Denuvo Anti-Cheat technology to reduce cheating on PC servers. Embark previously tested the system successfully in The Finals before adding it to ARC Raiders. Because the update addresses both gameplay balance and cheating concerns, many players now feel more optimistic about the future of ARC Raiders and its upcoming content roadmap.
