The Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025 will be held from 30 October to 1 November at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC). Hosted by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the fair is expected to attract over 250 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, alongside 2,000 business delegates and 50,000 visitors.
The 13th edition will feature 220 stalls across four pavilions, showcasing travel packages, cultural experiences, and destination management services. National tourism boards from Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka have confirmed participation, while exhibitors from Malaysia, the Maldives, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, the UAE, and Turkey will also be present.
A dedicated medical tourism zone is one the main attractions of this event. According to TOAB President Mohammed Rafiuzzaman, this reflects Bangladesh’s rising importance in healthcare travel, with affordable treatments, wellness options, and alternative medicine gaining attention from international visitors.
Alongside exhibitions, BTTF 2025 will host B2B sessions, seminars, and roundtables covering eco-tourism, sustainable travel, and global tourism trends. These events aim to build partnerships and provide insights for industry stakeholders.
The fair will also emphasize sustainability by pledging to be a plastic-free event, launching tree-planting campaigns, and promoting eco-friendly initiatives across all eight divisions of Bangladesh. A travel photography, videography, and storytelling competition will further engage visitors, showcasing the country’s natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Government backing strengthens the fair’s impact, with officials highlighting its role in advancing tourism goals. With greater international participation and a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, BTTF 2025 is poised to position Bangladesh as a leading travel destination in South Asia.
