BeastLink Reveals Multiplayer Kaiju Destruction Sandbox with Early Access Plans
BeastLink has officially been announced as an ambitious multiplayer destruction sandbox that focuses on large-scale chaos and dynamic gameplay. Developed by Grove Street Games, the title is set to launch in Early Access on Steam later this summer, with additional releases planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms. The announcement also confirmed a series of closed beta weekends, giving players an early opportunity to experience the game starting May 8.
Built using Unreal Engine 5, BeastLink aims to deliver a visually impressive and mechanically deep experience centered around destruction and transformation. Players can explore massive urban environments that evolve in real time, creating a constantly shifting battlefield. This early reveal has already generated interest due to its scale and unique focus on Kaiju-style gameplay.
Destruction Systems and Core Gameplay Mechanics
At the heart of BeastLink is the SuperDestruction system, a physics-based feature that allows players to reshape entire environments. With hundreds of thousands of destructible objects and millions of fragments, every encounter feels dynamic and unpredictable. Players can strategically destroy structures to gain tactical advantages or completely alter the battlefield.
The gameplay loop revolves around survival and transformation. Players begin as humans navigating dangerous, collapsing cities while gathering resources. Once enough resources are collected, they can link with powerful Kaiju, shifting gameplay into large-scale destruction and combat. This transition creates a layered experience that blends strategy with action.
Kaiju Variety and Player Experience
BeastLink introduces multiple Kaiju, each offering a distinct playstyle. From brute-force creatures to agile and aerial attackers, players can choose how they approach combat. This variety encourages experimentation and ensures that each match feels different.
The developers emphasize community involvement through beta testing, allowing players to shape the final experience. With its combination of destruction mechanics, evolving gameplay, and multiplayer focus, BeastLink positions itself as a unique addition to the action sandbox genre.
