Classic Car Rally Pakistan Rolls from Karachi to Peshawar

The pride of vintage car lovers hit the road again as the 18th Annual Classic Car Rally Pakistan began in Karachi on Wednesday. The event, organized by the Vintage and Classic Rally Drivers Association of Pakistan (VCRDAP), brings together timeless cars and passionate drivers.
The rally will travel through Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Nurpur Noon, and Islamabad before ending in Peshawar on October 29. Among the beauties on display are a 1960 Chevrolet Impala, a 1972 Toyota Corona, a 1977 Mercedes 240D, and a 1980 Mercedes 500SL.

A Celebration of Heritage and Passion

VCRDAP President Imad Samad said the rally first started in 2010 and continues every year. Its goal is to promote Pakistan’s positive image and showcase its motoring heritage. “This event reflects the spirit and love of classic car owners,” he shared.
This year’s rally also features a women’s driving team — Fozia Imad and Sabina Mansoor. Fozia drives a black 1977 Mercedes 240D, while Sabina handles a red 1952 MG TD. Their husbands, both avid collectors, are also taking part in different classic cars.
Imad’s daughter, 14-year-old Maryam Samad, joins her parents on the journey. She first took part as a baby in 2011 and continues the family tradition today.
