Crashout Crew Brings Co-Op Chaos After Peak’s Success

Aggro Crab, the quirky indie studio behind Peak, is back with another chaotic multiplayer experience, Crashout Crew. Revealed ahead of its demo debut at Steam Next Fest on October 13, the game trades mountain climbing for warehouse mayhem. With forklifts, broken eggs, and frantic teamwork, Crashout Crew feels like a mix between Overcooked and REPO, wrapped in Aggro Crab’s signature humor.

From Mountains to Loading Docks

After the viral success of Peak, fans wondered what the studio would tackle next. The answer came fast, literally. Crashout Crew was developed by a second internal team while others worked on Peak. It focuses on teamwork gone wrong, where players control adorable little dockworkers trying to fulfill delivery orders without causing total destruction. Sounds easy? Think again. Floors can turn slippery, cargo breaks unexpectedly, and chaos quickly becomes the norm. The physics-based gameplay rewards communication and coordination but punishes carelessness, making each session hilariously unpredictable.

A Fast and Fun Development Story

Aggro Crab revealed that Crashout Crew was born from a 2025 game jam idea that evolved into a full-fledged multiplayer title. The studio originally planned Going Under 2 but pivoted after its cancellation, splitting resources between Peak and Crashout Crew. The result is another co-op masterpiece that mixes humor with challenge. The visuals are bright and expressive, and the mechanics promise both laughter and frustration in equal measure. Like Peak, it emphasizes trial and error, learning through mistakes and laughing with friends. With its debut demo releasing this week, the game already looks like a game-night essential. It’s chaotic, charming, and proof that Aggro Crab is unstoppable when it comes to creating joyful multiplayer madness.
