Etihad Scales Up Services Across Five International Routes

Etihad Scales Up Services Across Five International Routes

Etihad Airways is expanding its global network significantly. The airline adds more flights to five international destinations. These include Brussels, Dhaka, Kraków, Palma de Mallorca, and Zanzibar. Strong demand from leisure and business travelers drives this expansion. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier responds to changing travel patterns effectively.

Year-Round Service and Increased Frequencies

The Abu Dhabi-Dhaka route becomes a year-round service now. This route launched on June 26 and proved highly popular. The Boeing 777 aircraft operates four times weekly. It offers 28 Business Class seats and 374 Economy Class seats. The service serves the Bangladeshi community and cargo needs.
Etihad increases Kraków flights to four times weekly. This starts from July 27, up from three services. The Airbus A321LR operates this seasonal route. Brussels flights will increase to 11 weekly services. This change takes effect from December 15.

Extended Seasonal Services

The Zanzibar service extends until March 31, 2027. This goes beyond the previous September end date. Strong demand for the Indian Ocean island prompted this extension. The Palma de Mallorca service also extends until October 18. Passengers can now travel to Spain later into autumn.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, noted the strong response. Demand exceeded expectations across all markets. The airline adds capacity where demand is strongest. These flights bring more visitors to Abu Dhabi. They also strengthen connections across the growing network.
