Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 Trail to the Heavens Launches April 28

Square Enix confirms Patch 7.5 “Trail to the Heavens” for Final Fantasy XIV Online, launching April 28 across all platforms. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 includes new main scenario quests and the final instalment of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series. The update brings the next update to Occult Crescent with a new zone, monsters, Critical Encounters, and increased knowledge level. Multiple new Phantom Jobs join the existing roster for players to master. A new dungeon called The Clyteum and a new Ultimate difficulty raid await dedicated players. The patch also introduces a new limited job called Beastmaster, allowing players to capture beasts and call them to fight at your side.

Major Content Updates

PvP Series 11 begins with adjustments to existing PvP actions and a new Crystalline Conflict arena called Archeia Harmonia. Ocean Fishing gets a new route towards Thavnair for fishing enthusiasts. Cosmic Exploration adds a new planet called Auxsia for crafters and gatherers to explore. Housing updates increase limits for interior and exterior furnishings with new interior designs.
The dye system receives an update alongside companion chocobo system improvements. Crafting updates and Gold Saucer updates round out the quality-of-life changes. The Armoire gets a dramatic increase to the number of items players can store. Duty Support adds support for The Dusk Vigil and Shisui of the Violet Tides dungeons.

Jollibee Collaboration and Fan Festival

Square Enix announces a collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV and Jollibee, the fast-food chain twice-crowned as “the best fast food fried chicken” in America. The limited-time crossover launches April 21, offering an Eat Chicken in-game emote with qualifying purchases. A limited-edition Jollibee x Final Fantasy XIV merchandise item is available exclusively on Complex.com. US players can also grab a limited-time Blue Raspberry Aether with Crystal Boba drink in a commemorative cup.
The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 takes place in Anaheim, CA on April 24-25. Jollibee’s Anaheim store will welcome Warriors of Light with a game takeover throughout the collaboration. Sound Director Masayoshi Soken expressed excitement about THE PRIMALS performing at Download Festival in the UK on June 12. The game has over 30 million registered accounts to date.
