Fortnite Festival Season Features Laufey with New Music Pass
Epic Games launches a new season for Fortnite Festival, the music festival and rhythm game mode within Fortnite. Fortnite Festival Laufey season starts April 16, featuring the jazz pop phenomenon as the headlining artist. The new “Emberlight” Music Pass lets players match Laufey’s captivating style and romantic-vintage aesthetic. All Fortnite Crew members receive the Music Pass automatically with their subscription. The pass immediately grants the White Dress Laufey Outfit to eligible players. Progression unlocks Laufey-themed instruments, Auras, the “Madwoman” Jam Track, and the Golden Era Laufey Outfit. Both outfits draw inspiration from original looks designed by Bode for Laufey’s “A Matter of Time” tour. The Item Shop also features additional Laufey-themed cosmetic items.
Festival Gameplay Updates
The Lover Girl Laufey Outfit comes inspired by Laufey’s Valentino look from her viral “Lover Girl” music video. Mei Mei the Bunny Back Bling accompanies the outfit in the Item Shop. Jam Tracks and Emotes for “Lover Girl” and “Tough Luck” become available for purchase. These additions give players more ways to express themselves during performances.
Players can now quickly swap between tracks while jamming with the new Quick Mix UI. The update introduces Mic Vocals, allowing you to sing along in real time with any compatible microphone. Pro Drums support lets players connect compatible drum kits to make the drum highway feel more real. These gameplay enhancements deepen the rhythm game experience for dedicated players.
What the Season Offers
Laufey’s arrival coincides with some of Festival’s biggest gameplay updates to date. The jazz pop phenomenon brings her incredible vocal abilities to the Fortnite stage.
