A fresh leak from a trusted source in the Genshin Impact community has suggested that Version 6.1 will debut Nefer, a new 5-Star Dendro Catalyst character designed to reshape the way players approach Lunar-Bloom reactions. The information arrives as the game continues preparing for the Nod-Krai era, which introduces the Lunar Reactions system. While Version 5.8 introduced Ineffa and the Lunar-Charged effect, Version 6.0 is expected to bring Lauma alongside the Lunar-Bloom mechanic.
Lauma, also a Dendro Catalyst, is set to serve as a flexible support option, boosting either Lunar-Bloom for Nod-Krai parties or Bloom for more traditional Dendro teams. Her role makes her particularly useful with characters such as Nilou, Neuvillette, and the forthcoming Nefer, who is expected to act as a dedicated Lunar-Bloom hypercarry. The collaboration between the two appears evident, as Lauma offers enhancements and Nefer inflicts damage.
However, Nefer’s kit may spark debate. Leaks suggest she will block the creation of Dendro Cores, which would prevent her from fitting into conventional Bloom, Burgeon, or Hyperbloom setups. Instead, Nefer’s gameplay is expected to focus on collecting Verdant Dews through Bloom triggers and spending them with her Elemental Skill. This change effectively turns Bloom’s Area-of-Effect model into a Single Target reaction, distinguishing Lunar-Bloom as a new mechanic.
If this is correct, Nefer will be the sole significant debut in Version 6.1.Players may use Version 6.0 to save Primogems and Intertwined Fates, particularly if they opt out of the Sumeru Chronicled Banner. Looking further ahead, speculation points to Columbina as a potential Hydro support for Nod-Krai.
