Google Expands AI Search Worldwide

Google Expands AI Search Worldwide

Google Search Live global rollout is now official. The feature is expanding to users worldwide. Google announced the update on Thursday. The AI-powered tool will reach more than 200 countries and regions.
Previously, the feature was limited to the United States and India. However, this expansion opens access to a global audience. Search Live lets users interact with search in real time. Instead of typing, users can speak and use their camera. As a result, the experience feels more natural and interactive.

Smarter Search With AI and Camera

The Google Search Live global feature uses advanced AI. It runs on the Gemini 3.1 Flash Live model. Users can point their phone camera at objects. Then, they can ask questions and receive spoken answers. In addition, they can continue the conversation with follow-up queries. For example, someone can scan a shelf and ask how to install it. The system will respond with helpful steps and links. Therefore, it acts like a real-time assistant.
Users can access the feature through the Google app. They simply tap the Live icon under the search bar. It also works with Google Lens for added convenience.
Google also shared updates for Google Translate. Its Live Translate feature is expanding to iOS and more countries. This allows real-time translations in over 70 languages. Overall, Google Search Live global rollout shows a shift in search behavior. AI-powered, voice-driven tools are becoming the new standard.
