Health Department Warns Public About Unsafe Medicine Batches

Unsafe medicine batches have triggered a nationwide health alert from the Health and Population Department. Officials warned patients receiving treatment for infections, allergies, and anemia to remain careful while using certain medicines. In addition, health authorities instructed pharmacies and distributors to remove the affected products from the market immediately.
According to the department, specific batches of Sufiferazone sodium, Mecobalamin, and Dexamethasone have been declared harmful to health. Officials believe these medicines may create serious risks for patients if people continue using them. Therefore, authorities issued the warning to prevent possible medical complications and protect public safety.
Doctors commonly prescribe Sufiferazone sodium to treat bacterial infections. Meanwhile, mecobalamin helps patients manage anemia, improve nerve function, and maintain energy levels. Dexamethasone, on the other hand, is widely used to control allergies, inflammation, and other immune-related conditions.

Authorities Order Immediate Action

Health officials directed medical stores, distributors, and healthcare providers to stop selling the affected batches without delay. Authorities also instructed suppliers to remove the medicines from shelves as quickly as possible. As a result, the department hopes to reduce risks for patients currently using these treatments.
Officials have not yet disclosed the exact health concerns linked to the unsafe batches. However, the department stressed that patients should avoid using the identified products until further notice. In addition, healthcare professionals may recommend alternative medicines where necessary.
The warning remains especially important for people currently receiving treatment for infections, allergies, or anemia. Patients should carefully check medicine packaging and batch information before continuing treatment. Authorities also advised people to contact doctors or pharmacists immediately if they notice unusual side effects or have concerns regarding their medication.

Public Asked to Stay Careful

The Health and Population Department says public awareness plays an important role in preventing health complications linked to unsafe medicine batches. Officials continue monitoring the situation while ensuring the immediate withdrawal of the affected products from the market.
Authorities have urged healthcare providers to cooperate fully with the recall process. Meanwhile, patients are encouraged to stay informed and follow medical advice to protect their health and safety.
