Honda EV Outlier Concept Redefines the Future of Electric Motorcycles

Honda is taking electric motorcycles to a whole new level. At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the company unveiled the Honda EV Outlier, a concept that combines futuristic design with next-generation performance.

A Bold Design Meets Smart Engineering

Designed by Yuya Tsutsumi, the EV Outlier blends the relaxed comfort of a cruiser with the fierce look of a performance bike. Its low, bucket-style seat gives riders better control and stability. In addition, the transparent front panel reveals the bike’s advanced suspension system, offering a peek into its engineering brilliance.
The Outlier uses dual hub motors for all-wheel drive, delivering smooth power to both wheels. By removing the central motor and transmission, Honda created space for a larger battery and improved traction. As a result, the bike promises a balanced ride with extended range.

Technology That Enhances the Ride

Instead of mirrors, cameras give riders a full view of their surroundings. A wide TFT display replaces the traditional dashboard, showing real-time data such as torque, motor output, and riding modes. Therefore, riders can stay informed and connected throughout their journey.
Although it’s still a prototype, the Honda EV Outlier clearly represents the brand’s vision for the future. It’s not just about going electric, it’s about creating a new kind of riding experience that merges power, comfort, and innovation.
Honda’s bold concept proves that the future of two-wheeled travel is bright, sleek, and fully electric.
