iDay 2025: Cal State Fullerton Connects 1,800+ Students With Insurance Careers

More than 1,820 students attended the annual iDay insurance education and career fair on October 22. The event was hosted by the School of Risk Management and Insurance at Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics.
Every year, iDay brings together students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals for a full day of learning and networking. The event celebrates collaboration between education and the insurance industry, helping students build valuable career connections.

Industry Experts and Opportunities

This year’s event featured 31 companies and organizations from across the insurance and risk management fields. These included firms specializing in residential, commercial, health, auto, and surplus insurance.
Students met directly with professionals who shared advice on internships, career growth, and emerging industry trends. In addition, the event offered resume reviews, one-on-one mentorship, and workshops on professional development.

Bridging Education and Career Success

The iDay fair provided more than just networking opportunities. It gave students a deeper understanding of the insurance industry and its diverse career paths. As a result, many left inspired and ready to pursue rewarding roles in risk management and finance.
Cal State Fullerton continues to strengthen its connection between academics and employment. More than 2,500 business alumni have already launched successful careers in insurance, risk management, and related sectors. Therefore, iDay remains a vital bridge between classroom learning and professional success.
