Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III Brings Entire Saga to Modern Consoles
Square Enix has officially announced Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III, a comprehensive bundle that brings together nearly the entire Dark Seeker Saga in one package. The new release launches on October 5 and gives players access to multiple Kingdom Hearts adventures across modern platforms. Most importantly, Nintendo Switch 2 players can finally experience these titles natively instead of relying on cloud streaming versions.
The collection combines Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC into a single purchase. As a result, both newcomers and longtime fans can revisit the franchise’s most important stories before the eventual arrival of Kingdom Hearts IV.
Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III Includes Multiple Games
The Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III features a large amount of content spanning several generations of the series. Players will receive Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and additional cinematic collections that help connect the overarching narrative.
Furthermore, the package includes Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts III, and the Re Mind expansion. Together, these releases tell the complete story of Sora, Donald, Goofy, and their allies as they travel across Disney and original worlds.
The bundle launches digitally and physically on supported platforms. Meanwhile, individual collections will also remain available for players who prefer to purchase specific entries separately.
Discounts and Exclusive Bonuses Available
Square Enix has also announced several incentives for returning players. Owners of previous digital versions on Nintendo Switch Cloud, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One can receive a 50 percent discount on digital purchases for current-generation platforms. In addition, Nintendo Switch Cloud players can transfer their save data to Nintendo Switch 2.
Players who pre-order digitally on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will gain 48-hour early access before launch. Moreover, each platform includes an exclusive Keyblade bonus. Nintendo Switch 2 owners receive the Long Night Keyblade, PlayStation 5 players receive the Midnight Blue Keyblade, and Xbox Series X|S users unlock the Phantom Green Keyblade.
The announcement arrives shortly after Square Enix released a new teaser for Kingdom Hearts IV. Consequently, the collection serves as an ideal way for players to catch up on the series before the next major chapter begins.
Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III launches on October 5 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
