Lahore DEA Orders Verification of Private School Registration Documents
The District Education Authority Lahore (DEA) has taken strict action against private schools involved in fake registrations. Officials have started Lahore school registration checks to verify documents across the city. As a result, authorities aim to improve transparency in the education sector.
The DEA instructed all private school owners to submit original registration documents within three days. Therefore, schools must present hard copies for detailed scrutiny. Officials warned that they will not accept delays or incomplete submissions.
The authority also directed schools to ensure that data on the PEPRS portal matches original records. In addition, any mismatch or fake certificate will lead to strict legal action.
Required Documents for Verification
Schools must submit several key documents for review. These include hygiene certificates and building fitness reports. Moreover, institutions must provide CCTV installation proof and security-related documents.
Authorities also require proof of clean drinking water facilities. In addition, schools must submit complete student records for verification.
Schools must also provide ownership or tenancy documents. They must include lists of students enrolled under free education schemes. As a result, officials will verify both infrastructure and enrollment data.
Strict Action Against Violations
