NADRA B-Form Update: New Rules Make Child Registration Easier

Pakistan’s NADRA B-Form update has made child registration easier for parents. The National Database and Registration Authority introduced new rules to simplify the process. As a result, families can now apply with fewer hurdles.
Parents can also use the Pak ID mobile app to complete applications. This step saves time and reduces the need for in-person visits. Therefore, the system now offers more flexibility.

Easier Rules for Younger Children

The new policy removes one key requirement for younger children. Kids under three years old no longer need to submit a photograph. This change makes the process quicker for parents with infants.
However, rules differ for older children. Those above three years must provide a recent photograph. In addition, officials want to ensure proper identification at every stage.

Stronger Checks for Older Applicants

Authorities have also added stricter checks for older children. Applicants aged 10 to 18 must complete biometric verification. This step includes fingerprints, iris scans, and a photograph.
These measures improve data accuracy and security. As a result, the system can better prevent identity issues. In addition, it strengthens official records for future use.
Parents now have two clear options. They can visit NADRA centres or apply from home. The mobile app offers a simple and fast alternative.
In conclusion, this update improves both ease and security. The new rules help parents manage registrations smoothly. At the same time, they ensure reliable identity records for children across Pakistan.
